A wet Mull

Two weeks on Mull saw us struggling with the weather, three and a half dry days is what we had in two weeks .Prior to leaving home I had booked the last place on the eagle boat trip for the Friday afternoon of our first week ,we awoke to a dry morning and has we had no phone signal made an early start to the Ulva ferry ,the morning trip hadn't left as we arrived so we watched the people go aboard and asked the lad what time the afternoon trip was to depart ,in the event I managed  to get on the morning trip as a couple hadn't turned up ( so pleased I did ) here,s a few pics.

                                                              Just having a look.

I'm on it

The grab

Gotcha ( am in there somewhere
 ?)

I'm off.

We saw seven different Eagles that morning which made for a great trip (just brilliant ).

Whitethroat's revisited

I  managed to escape for a hour or so onto the old line at Holywell in an effort to keep in touch with the Whitethroats that were calling and singing a few weeks ago,I sure wasn't dissapointed although things were a lot quieter ,nest upkeep and parenting seemed to be the order of the day as can be seen.

Thanks for looking

Whitethroat serenade

A very enjoyable early morning trip onto the old line at Holywell saw me serenaded from the off by numerous Whitethroats and the occasional gravely Sedge warbler, here are a few pics from my morning escape !.

I feel  sure that this guy (below ) is stuck to the twig as he has been in the same place for the last few days and does not move for walkers or passing bikes I do believe I could almost touch him ?.

The subsidence pond comes very close to the old line now and so does the bird life

oops I nearly forgot me Sedgy

.Thanks for looking and stay safe.
