Whitethroat serenade

A very enjoyable early morning trip onto the old line at Holywell saw me serenaded from the off by numerous Whitethroats and the occasional gravely Sedge warbler, here are a few pics from my morning escape !.

I feel  sure that this guy (below ) is stuck to the twig as he has been in the same place for the last few days and does not move for walkers or passing bikes I do believe I could almost touch him ?.

The subsidence pond comes very close to the old line now and so does the bird life

oops I nearly forgot me Sedgy

.Thanks for looking and stay safe.

Pre lock-down / home

Here is a couple of images from Holywell Pond  pre lock-down,these are quite cute and a bit of a favourite of mine.

I think it must have followed me home ??

This guy was showing an interest as well from across the way !!

This is when I escaped from lock-down prison for an hour to check on the
Dene Dipper family.

Looks like they are doing fine (now back to jail )

Thanks for looking
and most important stay well.
